WHAT IS TOR BROWSER?

What is TOR?

Tor is software that allows users to browse the Web anonymously. Developed by the Tor Project, a nonprofit organization that advocates for anonymity on the internet, Tor was originally called The Onion Router because it uses a technique called onion routing to conceal information about user activity

Is TOR is legal?

Tor to browse the Internet is not illegal. The download is free, and hiding your IP address and browsing history is not, in and of itself, illegal. However, many of those that use Tor use it specifically for anonymity because they are doing something illegal.

What is Tor Org?

Tor, also known as the Tor Project or the Onion Router, is an online anonymity network designed to conceal its user's identity and online activities. It does this by first encrypting the user's  communications, and then routing these communications through a network of relays located around the world

How TOR works?

Tor Browser obtains a list of Tor nodes or relays from the Tor directory server
Tor Browser picks a random path through Tor network to the destination server. All connections inside Tor network are encrypted. this example, the last connection is not-encrypted. The last connection would be encrypted if were visiting an https website. If at the later time, visits another server , Tor Browser selects a different random path.
